Plant Care

Watering

Water once a week or when the soil starts to become slightly dry at the top. Keep the soil lightly moist at all times, but do not overwater as this will cause brown spots and leaf drop. Curly or dry leaves suggest, the plant is dry and needs watering. Water in the early morning or late evening when temperatures are cooler. Always check your soil before watering.

Light

Bright indoor light or indirect sun. 6 hours to 8 hours

Temperature

Maintain temperatures between 18°C - 24°C. Avoid draughts as these can create undesirable temperature fluctuations. Consider giving your plant an occasional misting twice every week to maintain the optimum humidity level.

Fertilizer

Apply liquid fertilizer once in 15 days when the plant is actively growing. For best results use Folikraft ready to use Indoor Plant Food.

Plant Bio

Sansevieria is known for its air-purifying properties and is extremely popular because of its easy care and clean look. Sansevieria has the ability to produce oxygen and even has one of the highest conversion rates with regard to the conversion of carbon dioxide into oxygen. They tolerate low light conditions as well as artificial light, therefore they are very suitable for most homes, apartments, and offices.

Light: Indoor plants prefer bright, filtered light, but the plants are highly light-tolerant.

Water: The plant can survive long periods of drought. Water it monthly or less in winter; water it weekly or every other week in summer.

Temperature: Temperatures above 50 F are best, but it can survive cold spells. Generally, they do best in temperatures that are comfortable to humans: above 50 and below 85 F.

Soil: the Fast-draining cactus mix is preferred.

Fertilizer: Feed the plant during the growing season. Do not feed it during winter.
